RED LENTILS (MASOOR DAL)

Red Lentil or commonly known as Masoor dal is a very important part of vegetarian diet in Indian cuisine. Masoor dal is sold in all forms of whole or split. It is very soft dal to eat and cooks quickly as well. Whole Masoor is small and good source of cholesterol-lowering fiber. Biological name is Lens culinary.
